having a positive mindset is good, not because it will actually change the way the universe responds to you or any law of attraction bullshit, but more because it helps you keep calm, and able to respond better in stressful situations you can’t change. like it feels like bullshit at first like you’re lying to yourself when you say ‘things will be alright’ but after awhile you know it’s the truth and you’ll feel better than if you let your thoughts spiral into a big dark hole. just start small
